The VALE’s Aim
To catalyze positive global change we need to enable and empower the young leaders of our societies, in order for them to become the changemakers and gamechangers of not just tomorrow, but today.
This simple but astoundingly powerful belief calls for evermore opportunities for young people to explore and deepen their understanding of themselves – and of themselves in the world.
It’s the same belief that professes this: what starts in the life of one person, will create cascading ripple effects that go far beyond the single individual. The same belief that has always been at the core of YFU’s mission.
The VALE is an advanced leadership course for YFU youth workers organized by a multinational team of five young YFU volunteers.
The course stretches over a couple of months, consists of two training weekends and challenges participants to bring their reflections home with them.
Simply put, The VALE will empower the participants to better understand and develop their personal leadership skills – with a long-lasting and tangible impact.
